Lecture Courses
A number of undergraduate lecture courses are taught by the faculty of the Department of Medical Microbiology & Immunology, School of Medicine and Public Health. To learn more about our course offerings, check the UW-Madison Course Search & Enroll.
Research for Credit
Additionally, there are opportunities for undergraduate students to complete research projects for credit with MM&I faculty members.
In Medical Microbiology & Immunology, there are two paths for this “research for credit” experience: MM&I 699 (Directed Study) and MM&I 691/692 (Senior Thesis). In both, students are responsible for finding a MM&I faculty advisor (tenure-track, joint and affiliate), and student and advisor must discuss a suitable project well in advance of the student’s attempt to enroll.
